한국에서 시력교정수술을 할 것인가 말 것인가 하는 무수한 고민 끝에 나는 서울에 있는 몇 안과들에 대해 조사를 했었고, 청담밝은세상안과를 선택했다.
지금 생각해보면 그것은 정말 확실한 선택이었다. 라섹수술을 받은지 2개월이 지난 오늘, 시력 1.0에 눈 상태도 아주 편안하다.
수술을 받은 환자에 대한 안과의 사후 진료 시스템은 탁월하게 조직되어 있었다.
병원 방문 첫 날은 정밀 검사를 받고 이어서 라식과 라섹 중 어떤 것이 더 적합한가 하는 것에 관해 의사와 직접 상담을 하는 과정이었다.

수술 후 주말에 휴식을 취한 후 다음주에 수술 후 경과진료, 검사와 주의사항에 대해 듣기위해 안과에 방문했다. 경과진료 역시 잘 짜여있어서 환자에 대한 병원의 세심한 배려를 엿볼 수 있었다.
수술 후 매번 병원을 방문할 때마다 나를 수술했던 의사에게 진료를 받을 수 있었던 것도 아주 만족스러웠다.

After much contemplation over whether to undergo eye laser surgery, I researched several eye clinics in Seoul and selected Bright Life Eye Clinic in Chungdam, Seoul.
I certainly made the right choice. Today, 2 months after LASEK surgery, I have 20-20 vision with total eye comfort. The eye-care treatment for eye-surgery patients at the Clinic is superbly organized. The first day entails a rigorous eye diagnostics followed by a doctor-to-patient consultation on which surgery, LASIK or LASEK, is more appropriate. On the day of the surgery, I was completely at ease having confidence in the professionalism of the clinic staff. Moreover, the scheduling of treatments is up to the patient which meant I lost no time at work.
After resting the weekend from the surgery,
I return the following week for an extensive post-surgery follow-up examination and
self-care consultation. Follow-up care is also well-organized, showing the clinic’s concern over its patients.
In fact, the doctor who performed LASEK was always the doctor who treated me at every visit. Indeed, it’s a “bright life” having selected the staff and technology of the Bright Life Eye Clinic.
